My wonderful week of 2021 Boardgame themed nights
What a great birthday week! After having a very toned down 2020 Birthday during the beginning of "These challenging times" as so many call them, Melissa treated me to a WONDERFUL week of 7 experiences! Each experience was paired with a challenge to guess the theme/game based on thematic music picked out by Melissa. For example, the first night began with me hearing the Lava song from the short Disney video that preceded Moana. This was one of many songs that indicated Survive, Escape from Atlantis! (Technically the 5 to 6 player expansion that introduces giant squid!) She brought out her stuffed Whale pillow, a themed Lava decoration, A pineapple and cocoanut for the theme, actual pineapple to eat, and fish-themed cut-out grilled cheese paired with tomato soup with pumpernickel bread for the volcano in the water... There was even a boat for us to assemble, and we each had a velvet whale to color!...
